Service Termination / Cancellation

As all services are tailored to individual requirements termination / cancellation policies are determined in the engagement letter signed by both the client and Value Generation Ltd. A typical engagement letter clause is as follows:

Agreement of Terms

  1. Once it has been agreed, this letter will remain effective from the date of signature until it is replaced. Either party may vary or terminate our authority to act on your behalf at any time six months after commencement of this engagement without penalty. Notice of termination must be given in writing.
  2. Would you please confirm your agreement to the terms set out by this letter by signing and returning the enclosed copy. Please contact us if they are not in accordance with your understanding of our terms of engagement.

Workshop Based Training

The cancellation policy for such services is as follows:

Transfers & Cancellations
If a registered delegate cannot attend any workshop a replacement is always welcome.  Cancellations must be made in writing (letter or email).  Cancellations more than 28 days before the workshop will be refunded in full subject to a 20% administration fee.  Cancellation 28 days or less before a workshop will be charged in full, however a voucher will be issued providing a credit of 80% of invoice total for use against a deferred Continuity10 booking made within 12 months of the cancellation date.

Quality of Service / Complaints

  1. We aim to provide the best possible service to our clients. If you would like to discuss how our service could be improved please let us know by telephoning the Managing Director.
  2. We undertake to look into any complaint carefully and promptly and do all we can to explain the position to you. We will do everything reasonable to put matters right. Prompt communication enables us to take prompt action on your behalf.
  3. Should you at any stage, feel that you have not received an adequate response to a complaint the circumstances should be bought to the attention of the Managing Director.
  4. If we do not answer your complaint to your satisfaction you may take up the matter with The Chartered Insurance Institute.

Applicable Law

Engagements shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, English law. The Courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any claim, dispute or difference concerning the engagement and any matter arising from it.
