The British Standards Institute issued a Draft Code of Practice for Risk Management in 2007.  This Code of Practice is designed to ensure effective risk management within organisations and thus assist the organisation to achieve its objectives.  The Code helps organisations to implement  a risk management system, with appropriate risk principles and practices including necessary working documentation.  The aim is that an organisation can have the assurance that risk is effectively managed and controlled on an ongoing basis
