Business Continuity Plans

 
 

The Chartered Management Institute’s 2007 Business Continuity Management survey yielded some interesting results. Over half the business managers surveyed worked in an organisation where there was no specific Business Continuity Plan (BCP).

Amongst those entities having a BCP, only half carry out regular and thorough rehearsals despite the fact that eighty per cent of those who tested their plan discovered weaknesses that needed to be addressed
